WATER PARK: Take 2! (By Austin)

Today was the second time we went to the Water park! (me and my dad, anyway.) 

My dad woke me up, and then I got dressed. Then, after what seemed like forever, we finally left for the water park. When we got there, we got paper wrist bands and went in. We went to get the key for the locked cabin, changed and went to the kiddie pool. Mom was really happy dad and I knew where everything was since it took a while to figure it all out last time we were here. 

LG didn’t want to get in the water at firstL, but then he started warming up to the water.  I finally convinced my mom to go to the water slides with me, and we did all three slides. The bumpy yellow one, the twisty blue one, and the scary fast orange one. 

Then we went in the lazy river. It was warmer then the water slides, that’s for sure. Since it was a chillier day than last week it felt good. My mom went to the bathroom and then we went to check on my dad and LG. They weren’t there, so we started looking for them. It turns out, they were looking for us! Then me, my dad, and LG went down a waterslide a couple times. They went down the yellow one because that’s the only one they would let 2 people go down together.  I did the yellow one, the blue one, and the orange one. After that we ate lunch, they tried some new foods and I stuck to an old favorite- hot dog. Then we got in the lazy river for a little bit, nice and warm since the clouds were covering the sun…it only got to 82 today. Then, the moment of truth- will LG go down the kiddie slide by himself? I got him to the kiddie pool, and then to the little mini waterslide in the kiddie pool.  We thought I might be able to get him to go down. He whines. I help him back down the steps and go to do the water slides by myself one more time. After that, sadly, we had to leave. But we did stop at Yummy’s for frozen yogurt (my FAVORITE spot)!! Then we went home.
