WATER PARK: Take 2! (Parents’ addendum)

Be sure to see Austin’s earlier post about this trip.
Once we got back from the park, although LG was very tired, there was no nap going to be taken. I was exhausted. First time in pool/beach sun all summer! I laid on the bed but it was more like a power nap than anything else. Soon LG was restless, mostly from a lack of sleep. So LG and I walked to the park for a bit. The park time didn’t last long since LG was still wearing his new flip flops and was not a fan of gravel and sand in his shoes, note to self – put on tennis shoes next time. When we arrived home Tony had all the food on the table ready for dinner (THANK YOU!) and right after dinner LG got a bath and PJs. I would have put him to bed immediately however George was coming over to talk about next week and got stuck and traffic. So a dance party ensued, well LG and I danced; Tony and Austin not so much. LG loves music and is actually a pretty good dancer. We had fun. The challenge was to get him to stop running round the apartment (3rd floor apt issues). He fell asleep in 15 minutes.
Today’s trip was also a test to see if LG would be able to get used to the water so we all could go to the Cave baths on Wednesday. After today’s success we think he will enjoy it.
George informed us of our new “Home Away From Home” would be a 1 bedroom Marriot Apartment! I am very excited 1) REAL BED!!!! 2) we will still have a kitchen 3) FREE Breakfast!! 4) in the heart of Budapest!!!! Even though we have some appointments Friday- Dr visit, Mon- US Consulate meeting, and Tues- pick up visa, we are still going to be able to sight see and enjoy this last portion of our tip. This will feel more like a vacation (that’s our prayer).
For those praying:
1- LG has been sleeping MUCH better. Couple normal issues (Toddler Twist) but I don’t think much out of the normal 4yo sleeping routine. Pray this continues in Budapest and ATL
2- All the logistics of our final week here good smoothly. George and his team are EXCELLENT, but I know there is much to do that we don’t even know about. As George says ‘I will do it, don’t worry about it.’ I know he has a lot on his plate and I appreciate what the whole team has done/is doing for us! (especially since they have 2 families in country at the same time, in different locations, in different parts of the process)
3- Pray for the other family as they start their ‘exile’ tomorrow (30 days custody).
4- Pray for LG as he transitions to Budapest and then ATL. That he is at ease and trusts that we will take care of him.
